        I'm Tom Hammel, moderator of the Guys Read book discussion group here

at the Princeton Public Library. Guys Read is a program created by children's author

Jon Scieszka with a simple but important mission: to instill in young boys a lifelong

love of reading, and have them do that by having them read with a dad, granpa,

uncle, older brother, any male adult. We read a book each month for boys ages 8-10,

which they read at home with an adult, then we come into the library and have a great

talk about it. Guess what? It's fun!

As we move forward, you will find articles, interviews, and all kinds of information about the

authors and books we are reading. If there is something you would like to see on our Wiki,
